The body of the white and black 'Pinto-painted' horse seems to be a truck's diesel tank, with flat sheet metal cut and welded to approximate the neck and head, the four legs, and tail of the horse. There is no slot for the mail, rather a bolted flap on the right side of the horse. It is securely mounted on two metal pipes into a small concrete pad. It is adjacent to the Mondrook Community Hall; where there is a geocache hiding.
