An easy to find vertical control disk in a small outcrop. Safe parking is about 350ft south of mark. DO NOT park on the road!! This is the road to The Dragon and there's alway motorcycles and exotic cars screaming down this road!

1983 by CGS (MONUMENTED)

DESCRIBED BY NATIONAL GEODETIC SURVEY 1983 3.6 KM (2.25 MI) NW FROM TALLASSEE. 3.6 KM (2.25 MI) NORTHWEST ALONG U.S. HIGHWAY 129 FROM THE POST OFFICE IN TALLASSEE TO THE MARK ON THE LEFT, 5.24 METERS (17.2 FT) WEST OF THE CENTERLINE OF THE HIGHWAY, 15.91 METERS (52.2 FT) NORTHWEST AND ACROSS THE HIGHWAY FROM UTILITY POLE 120 WITH 2 GUY WIRES. THE MARK IS 1.04 METERS SE FROM A WITNESS POST. THE MARK IS 0.61 M ABOVE HIGHWAY.
