This Mine Cart is located outside the Brant Sports Complex in Paris, Ontario. Near the cart is a information sign with the history of the Gypsum of Paris. Gypsum was an important part in the building of Paris as a town, even contributing to the name which came from Plaster of Paris.
The cart itself was from the 1930s and was donated by the Canadian Gypsum Company of Hagersville, Ontario.
