In Hopkinton, along Mass. Route 135 (Wood Street), is a boat ramp access point for Whitehall Reservoir.

The entrance is located on the west side of the road. There is a sign at the entrance, and the parking lot is visible from the road.

The parking area has room for dozens of cars. It can be hard to find a spot, and cars were parked on the grass in addition to the paved spaces. I suggest that you get there early. There is no fee to enter.

The boat ramp is pretty basic, one asphalt ramp into the water. Motor boats can be used on the reservoir, however, there are many islands and shallow areas - Mind the 10 mph speed limit, and no waterskiing or jetskiing. This reservoir is great for canoes and kayaks. The lake has several coves to explore and the lake is protected by state park land.

Hours - I did not see hours posted. I suspect that they roughly follow daylight hours, every day.
