This headstone is made of sandstone, but an attempt was made to color it gray or white, and a variety of stones decorate the concrete base. The inscription is at the top of the headstone, with the epitaph in small letters, and it reads:
At Rest
B.F. Smith
Born March 10. 1849,
Died March 8. 1931.
Age 82.
He is gone but not
forgotten.

He actually just missed 82.
