When driving South on San Antonio Street from the center of Center Point, the Center Point Cemetery's main gate will be on the right/west side of San Antonio Street where San Antonio splits into CR 480, turning to the West, while Elm Pass Road continues South. The gate has no sign for hours of being open, but they have always been open during the normal business hours.

The tree shaped headstone for Charles Wl Howland is a few yards inside the bend in the cemetery's internal vehicle pathway. Enter the gate and take the middle pathway all the way to the back where the path bends around to loop back to the entrance. There is a dark green utility building on the outside edge of the bend in the path. The gravesite for Charles W. Howland is three rows inside the bend from the green building.

The classic tree shaped grave marker has the Woodmen of the World Memorial circle engraved in the top third of the monument. Below the logo is the traditional scroll engraved with the following text:

Charles W.
Howland

July 22, 1857
June 12, 1918

The Father's Holy
Will Be Done.
Though We Be Left
To Weep.
