The trapezoidal printed metal sign is mounted onto a stone block wall with a simple bench behind it. It is in the Sea Rescue Park between the local road and the wooden boardwalk that lines this part of Bustard Bay. It is in the locality known as Seventeen Seventy, from Captain Cook making a landing near here in 1770 AD.

It seems that Fauna sign is welcoming the observer to go and catch this fish that can be found in estuaries and along the coast all year round, and cook it up your desired way. There is even an electric BBQ right behind the sign, and a covered picnic table if there in summer time.
