A single basketball hoop is behind the Bradley Sleep Lab on the Butler Hospital campus in Providence, Rhode Island. The HDPE fan-shaped backboard is weathered and its front side covered by gray mildew. From its hoop, barren of paint, hangs a metal chain link net. The goal's bright metal pole is planted at the southeast end of a small parking area with spaces for three vehicles. There are no basketball markings on the asphalt surface which is mostly intact and only sightly sloped to the southwest.
