The Native American Scenic Byway follows US12 through the Standing Rock Sioux reservation in South Dakota, and it either starts (or ends - depending on your perspective) in a small roadside park were US 12 crosses over the Missouri River from Mobridge, South Dakota.
The standing Rock Sioux have created a beautiful river-side park with several scenic byway historical markers here explaining cultural traditions, history, and other aspects of native culture, while also providing a map of the byway for travelers.
The waymark coordinates are located at the group of four historical markers at the park.
