Slate Cottage - Church Bridge - Coniston, Cumbria - Realistic Object Sculptures on Waymarking.com

A model house made from local slate by Edward Robinson, a retired builder. He has spent thousands of hours creating perfect miniature version of a Lakeland village out of slate (visit link) . The attraction is apparently now permanently closed, and this may be one of the pieces - sadly there is no identification as to whether it is a replica of a known building.

"One hundred of the Lake District's top landmarks have been painstakingly recreated as a model village - entirely crafted out of locally sourced slate.

Retired builder Edward Robinson, 67, has spent thousands of hours over the past 25 years making perfectly scaled models of attractions including Beatrix Potter's Hill Top, Bridge House at Ambleside and Townend Farmhouse at Troutbeck."
