Structures built more recently for worship in Butchers Hill were far simpler in scale and styling. In 1916 the Tzemach Sedek Nusach Congregation built a brick synagogue at 2120 East Fairmount Avenue (#53). It was constructed with a beige brick façade in a style that would appear to be Egyptian Revival in inspiration.
