The parish church of Grajal is located in the historic center, in front of the Town Hall. It is from the 16th century, built in a mixture of Gothic and Mudejar styles. In its external appearance, the apse and its high brick bell tower stand out, which curiously has five corners, which has given rise to a particularly popular saying: "the tower of Grajal has 5 corners and one is missing to have 4".

The church has a Latin cross plan with three naves, and is dedicated to Saint Michael the Archangel, whose image presides over the main altar. Also inside the church is the carving of the Christ of Agony, as well as several reliquaries and other gold and silver objects, and an 18th-century organ.

Curiously, the presbytery was connected by one of the sides with the tower of the Palace of the Counts of Grajal, since the noble family did not go to the church with the people, but rather listened to it through a grating in a room from the own palace.
