En la plaza de San Marcelo de la capital leonesa, junto al Palacio de los Guzmanes y frente a la Casa Botines, una de las pocas obras de Antoni Gaudí fuera de Cataluña.

Hecha en bronce por José Luis Fernández y fundida en 1998., representa a Gaudí sentado en un banco , haciendo un boceto de una de sus obras y en la esquina del banco , una paloma, como así se conoce esta plaza de León ( plaza de las palomas ).
Me senté a su lado y muy disimuladamente observaba como corregía unos de sus bocetos con cara de no entender nada.
Made in bronze by José Luis Fernández and cast in 1998, it represents Gaudí sitting on a bench, making a sketch of one of his works and in the corner of the bench, a dove, as this Plaza de León is known (Plaza de the pigeons ).
I sat next to him and very covertly watched as he corrected one of his sketches with a face of not understanding anything.
