Stone shield next to the Church of Santos Juanes.
Padilla de Abajo is the birthplace of the Padilla family, to which the Queen of Castile María de Padilla belonged. It is believed that the building that now forms the arcades of the town's main square was the family's palace.
Cut shield. First, of azure with three padillas, each accompanied by three crescents of silver. Second, gules with a silver tower, added to three lilies of the same, and accompanied by two silver crosses, one on each flank. At the doorbell the Spanish Royal Crown.
