The Fiery Gizzard Trail is an epic 13 mile trail that takes one through a rocky canyon with multiple waterfalls and up along the rim of the canyon providing views for miles. This is a hidden gem and well worth the trip. Hike it out and back, south to north, north to south, or just a little here and a little there, there is no wrong way to enjoy this trail. There is ample parking on most days but on nice weather weekends it could be full. In inclement weather, the canyon portion can be quite slippery so plan accordingly.
