All the Blasterz love a good drawbridge, and were excited to discover that this one is also an NGS benchmark

Daddy Blaster is a civil engineer, so we always check out the cool infrastructure, especially when they are old bridges and, being prairie dwellers near a non-navigable river, draw bridges.
This bridge formally carried US 81/Meridian Highway over the Missouri River between Nebraska and South Dakota. In 2019 is been converted into a pedestrian bridge, unfortunately Blasterz did not have enough time today to walk back and forth over the bridge. When an lot of Lewis and Clark history is so close by, Older Sister Blaster gets inpatient to go explore it.
