Hard Rock Cafe Gran Canaria was opened in 2019. Due the covid-19 it was closed soon after opening. Now that restaurant is back.
For the trivia: This is not first ginormous guitar of HRC on same area. First Gran Canaria Hard Rock Cafe was opened on different location (about 1km to North-West) on 2005 and front of it was huge guitar too. It was different however.

Their signature of building on Playa del Ingles beach is wedged neon-style lights on corners of restaurant. Another and also a BIG attraction is huge guitar on side of Hard Rock Cafe. Would say it is acoustic guitar.
On daylight this building and guitar is perhaps not so nice, but on evening The guitar is illuminated, so go there during that time.

The restaurant: they have live stage which regulary presents cover-bands and specially Michael Jackson tribute.

Guitar is around 55 feet high. Perhaps even more. There is quite expensive apartments behind this big guitar. Imagine what they have though when this has appeared to block view into sea...
