[GER] Die Windmühle, die zwischen 1701 und 1709 errichtet wurde, steht südlich von Barby am Nordrand von Sachsendorf. Sie wurde 1788 und 1819 verändert. Es handelt sich um eine Bockwindmühle mit Volljalousieflügeln. Die Mühlentechnik aus Mahlgang, Schrotgang, Sichtmaschine, Walzenstuhl, Haferquetsche, Sackaufzug und Transmission ist vollständig erhalten. Die Mühle wurde seit der Erbauungszeit bis 1939 durchgängig betrieben. Zu Zeiten der DDR war sie dem Verfall preisgegeben. 1995 wurde die Mühle vollfunktionsfähig wieder aufgebaut. 2019/20 erfolgte eine komplette Sanierung der Mühle.

[ENG] The windmill, built between 1701 and 1709, is south of Barby on the northern edge of Sachsendorf. It was modified in 1788 and 1819. It is a post mill with full blind blades. The mill technology consisting of grinding gear, grist gear, sifting machine, roller mill, oat crusher, sack elevator and transmission is completely preserved. The mill was in continuous operation from the time it was built until 1939. In the days of the GDR it was left to decay. In 1995 the mill was rebuilt to be fully functional. In 2019/20 the mill was completely renovated.
