"Santa Bárbara es un barrio situado en un meandro del río de la Val, al lado de la carretera A-1403, a poco menos de 2 kilómetros de la capital municipal. Fue fundado como barriada para mineros, siendo un núcleo de casas de ladrillos rojos, parecido a Aldehuela. Solo viven 19 habitantes.
Es de fundación reciente, y no tiene ningún monumento civil, aunque se debe mencionar su iglesia dedicada a Santa Bárbara, patrona de los mineros, que actualmente, es ahora un museo y centro de interpretación de la minería."
"Santa Bárbara is a neighborhood located in a meander of the river de la Val, next to the A-1403 road, just under 2 kilometers from the municipal capital. It was founded as a neighborhood for miners, being a nucleus of red brick houses, similar to Aldehuela. Only 19 inhabitants live.
