Gli Scettri, progettati per la mia sala personale alla Biennale di Venezia del
1988, sono, nel contesto della mia espressività astratta e segnica, le antenne
del futuro, e, allo stesso tempo, le maschere tribali che risorgono da una selva
oscura per svettare trionfanti e stagliarsi all’orizzonte delle “rive marine”
dei miei sogni.

The Sceptres, designed for my solo room at the 1988 Venice Biennale,
are, in the context of my abstract and sign-like expressiveness, the
antennae of the future, and, at the same time, the tribal masks that rise
from a dark forest to soar triumphant and stand out on the horizon of the
"sea shores" of my dreams.
