NL We hebben een jaarabonnement gehad op Amersfoort Dierenpark en ik ben dus al heel vaak over deze brug gelopen, me afvragend of dit nou een Baileybrug was. Ook het internet bood geen uitsluitsel. Totdat we in augustus de waterfietsen huurden. Super mooie tocht waarbij je onder deze brug vaart en langs heel veel wilde dieren (je vaart onder andere rondom het eiland van kapucijnapen en ringstraatmaki’s). Bij het weglopen zag ik opeens een kaart met de route en jawel, daar stond de brug vermeld als ‘Bailey brug’. Yes, eindelijk bewijs! Ik heb helaas geen andere informatie over deze brug kunnen vinden.
ENG We had an annual subscription to Amersfoort Zoo, so I have walked across this bridge many times, wondering if this was a Bailey bridge. The internet was also inconclusive. Until we rented the pedal boats in August. Super nice trip where you sail under this bridge and past lots of wild animals (you sail around the island of capuchin monkeys and ring street lemurs, among other things). When walking away I suddenly saw a map with the route and yes, the bridge was listed there as 'Bailey bridge'. Yes, proof at last! Unfortunately I have not been able to find any other information about this bridge.
