Romans-sur-Isère is a French municipality located in the department of Drôme, in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region, in the south-east of France (average Rhône valley).
Its inhabitants are called the Romanais and Romanaise.
With the neighbouring town of Bourg-de-Page, located on the other side of the Isère, it forms an agglomeration of about 50,000 inhabitants.
