[FR] Le barrage de Pizançon, d’une longueur de 147.7 mètres et haut de 14.2 mètres, est un barrage hydraulique du Département de la Drôme situé sur le territoire de la commune de Romans-sur-Isère en France.
Il a été construit en 1931 en travers de la Rivière L’isère et retient un volume d’eau de 12 500 milliers de m³ sur une surface de 240 hectares.
Construit pour produire de l’électricité il régule le cours de l’Isère et permet aux vélos et aux piétons de traverser.
Pendant les combats de la dernière guerre mondiale, le 20 juin 1940, la traversée "passe-écluse" est dynamitée par l’armée française pour ralentir l’avancée allemande. Le 30 août 1944 les Allemands échouent à faire sauter le barrage, ce qui permettra aux Américains de franchir l’Isère.

During the fighting of the last World War, on June 20, 1940, the "pass-lock" crossing was dynamited by the French army to slow down the German advance. On August 30, 1944 the Germans failed to blow up the dam, which would allow the Americans to cross the Isère.
