This port is where the biggest cruise boats spend time in Sydney on their cruises. It is next to the main ferry terminal and close to many quality hotels.
Visitors on a one day visit can get a good trip around Sydney due to its location due to being within easy walking distance and train or light rail to the CBD.
The other Cruise Ship Port waymark nearby is mostly used for navy vessels. When the new Queen Mary arrived in Sydney, it was too large to moor at this terminal. The berth has now been lengthened and the Queen Mary is a regular visitor on its cruises.
A spectacular sight is from the Opera House when the cruise boat leaves. They back out and turn around in their own length with the assistance of tug boats.
Name of the Cruise Ship if one is in 'Port'.: Quantum Of The Seas
