Along the road (L164) is the soldier's grave of Alfred Brotkorb.
You cannot park here, you have to drive 200 meters further to the parking lot, which is signposted. From there you have to follow the signs on a forest path to the grave.
-----

"On March 17, 1945, the "last day of the war" in this region, the German units retreating over the Erbeskopf were suddenly attacked by American fighter-bombers. In the process, 32-year-old NCO Alfred Brotkorb died and was buried on the spot next to the road (today L 164).

A Deuselbach couple, whose son had been killed in Russia, maintained the gravesite for many years. Also the widow of the fallen did not wish a reburial. In 2004, the gravesite was redesigned by another private initiative and provided with a large information board."
