This Train Station is next to the local grassy park which has an extraordinary fig tree, and a poignant War Memorial. There is a wood structure for waiting in on the single platform. Though opposite the station there is a passing loop and a disused siding. An adequate car park is to the southwest of the station. The town is served by the long-distance 'Traveltrain' services. Other services that go through only stop here when pre-booked.
