This small park and compass rose are relatively new, as is the housing nearby. It's right next to some boat docks.

I stumbled across this very plain compass rose while visiting the local marina. Thought it would be worth a visit to other waymarkers. There are benches nearby to watch the boats coming and going and some nice landscaping around the area. It's a nice little spot in a corner of Alameda that is largely industrial, and just a short walk from the main harbor.
