The Pittsfield Korean War Memorial is a 4' high granite base with a bronze plaque on a slanted top. The monument was dedicated on Nov. 11, 2002. The base has the bronze emblems of the five armed forces: Army - Navy - Marines - Coast Guard - Air Force. The plaque has a map of Korea showing the 38th Parallel and the names of 20 residents of Pittsfield who died during the Korean War.
The plaque is inscribed:
