[FIN] Jumalansynnyttäjän suojeluksen kirkko eli Pokrovan kirkko on Lappeenrannassa Linnoituksen kaupunginosassa sijaitseva ortodoksinen kirkko. Se valmistui 1785, ja se on Suomen vanhin edelleen toiminnassa oleva ortodoksikirkko.

Kirkon kellotorni sijaitsee sen pääoven kohdalla. Vuonna 2016 kirkko sai lahjoituksena uuden kirkonkellon. Pronssisen kellon on valanut kaavilainen Juutilan valimo. Uusi kello painaa 180 kilogrammaa. Se on kirkon tornin seitsemäs ehjä kello. Kellon sävelkorkeus on pikku-E.

Kelloja tässä kellotornissa on siis seitsemän kappaletta. Niistä ei kaikki ole näkyvissä ulospäin. Tornin etuosassa on ikoni hyvin näkyvällä paikalla.

[EN] The Church of the Protection of the Mother of God, or Pokrova Church, is an Orthodox church located in Lappeenranta's Fortress district. It was completed in 1785, and it is the oldest still functioning Orthodox church in Finland.

The bell tower of the church is located at its main door. In 2016, the church received a new church bell as a donation. The bronze bell was cast by the Juutila foundry in Kaavi. The new watch weighs 180 kilograms. It is the seventh intact bell in the church tower. The pitch of the bell is small E.

So there are seven bells in this bell tower. Not all of them are visible from the outside. In the front of the tower there is an icon in a very visible place.
