The Peck Homestead (open), 3 Elizabeth St., is now the headquarters of the Attleboro Chapter of the D.A.R. Built in 1706, this red gambrel-roofed one-and-a-half story dwelling is the oldest house in Attleboro, and has been the homestead of a single family for 230 years. The low-ceilinged interior is furnished in early American style with many relics and antiques. Each room contains a fireplace and the doors have their original latches.

The various sources on the internet has multiple construction dates for the Peck Homestead, dating from early 1700's to 1740's. Easy to miss this property, it seems to be out of place at this location. The structure was moved to this spot. Most of residences on the street are multi-floor multi-family homes. The American Revolution (D.A.R) bought house in 1901.
