Wagon bydlęcy to tak naprawdę znaczna część pomnika upamiętniającego ofiary Tragedii Górnośląskiej - masowych mordów na ludności cywilnej i wywózek w głąb ZSRR dokonywanych przez Armię Czerwoną. Dokładnie takim wagonem byli transportowani. Wagon jest koloru brązowego i jest ustawiony na torach, na piedestale otoczonym kostką. Na podstawie umieszczona została granitowa tablica upamiętniająca opisująca tragedię. Pusty otwór drzwi wagonu został wypełniony czarno-szarą płaskorzeźbą, przedstawiającą postacie niewinnych ludzi. Na jednym z końców, tory na których stoi wagon odchodzą do góry i łączą się, by utworzyć symbol krzyża.

The cattle wagon is actually a significant part of the memorial commemorating the victims of the Upper Silesian Tragedy - the mass murder of civilians and deportations deep into the USSR by the Red Army. They were transported in exactly such a wagon. The wagon is brown in color and is set on the tracks, on a pedestal surrounded by cubes. A granite memorial plaque describing the tragedy has been placed on the base. The empty opening of the wagon's door was filled with a black and gray bas-relief, depicting figures of innocent people. At one end, the tracks on which the wagon stands diverge upward and join to form the symbol of a cross.
