Hunt's Church-A Methodist Society Established in 1773. First meeting house built on this site 1780. Previously met in Phineas Hunt’s House, still standing on Joppa Road. His grave is nearby. The present church building was erected in 1874.
The marker was erected by the Baltimore County Historical Society.
