Durante la Guerra de España, Pedro y otros cuatro hermanos lucharon por la República. En 1938 tuvo un papel destacado en la Batalla del Ebro y fue ascendido a sargento en la 60 Brigada Mixta de Cabos de Infantería.
En 1939 cruzó la frontera con Francia. Después de pasar por los campos de concentración franceses se alistó en la 109 Compañía de Trabajadores Extranjeros. Trabajó en la fortificación de la Línea Maginot, destinado a Faulquemont y Saint Florentin. Fue detenido en Delle y enviado al Fronstalag 140, en Belfort; después al Stalag IX-B Fallingbostel.
En enero fue deportado a Mauthausen y unos días después el 17 de febrero fue trasladado a Gusen, el matadero de los españoles. Allí fue asesinado el 14 de noviembre de 1941.
Su stolperstein se puso el 16 de diciembre de 2021 en el número 9 de la calle Elfo.”
