Graurheindorf ist ein Stadtteil im Bonner Norden direkt am Rhein. Die erste bekannte Erwähnung des Dorfes stammt aus dem Jahr 1131, damals noch unter dem Namen "Rindrop". Inzwischen ist es Bestandteil der größer gewordenen Stadt Bonn, der dörfliche Charakter mit alten Häusern und Höfen ist aber bis heute erhalten geblieben. Auch einige historische Sehenswürdigkeiten wie die Rheindorfer Burg, die Kirche St. Margareta oder das Haus Müllestumpe sind noch heute zu erkunden. Der Ort war schon immer eng mit dem Rhein verbunden, und auch heute befindet sich hier der Bonner Hafen.

2019 hat der Ortsausschuss Graurheindorf damit begonnen, den "Historischen Weg Graurheindorf" einzurichten, im März 2021 wurde er offiziell eingeweiht. Dabei handelt es sich um einen ca. 4 Kilometer langen Weg mit 15 Stationen quer durch das Dorf. Die Stationen zeigen historische oder aktuelle Sehenswürdigkeiten oder berichten über historische Ereignisse des Dorfes wie die Pest 1666 und die Hochwasser-Katastrophe von 1784. An jeder Station steht eine Informationstafel zum jeweiligen Thema mit Texten, Bildern und Fotos. Zusätzlich ist auf jeder Tafel ein QR-Code, mit dem man sich per Handy den Text vorlesen lassen kann.

Der Startpunkt des Historischen Wegs liegt im Zentrum Graurheindorfs an der Brücke der Estermannstraße über den Rheindorfer Bach, direkt an der Graurheindorfer Bücherkarre. Hier befindet sich eine Informationstafel mit einer Übersichtskarte über alle Stationen sowie Flyer zum Mitnehemen.

Graurheindorf is a district in the north of Bonn directly on the Rhine. The first known mention of the village comes from the year 1131, at that time still under the name "Rindrop". It is now part of the expanded city of Bonn, but the village character with old houses and farmyards has been preserved to this day. Some historical sights such as the Rheindorf Castle, the Church of St. Margareta or the House of Müllestumpe can still be explored today. The place has always been closely linked to the river Rhine, and the port of Bonn is still located here today.

In 2019, the Graurheindorf local committee began to set up the "Historical Path Graurheindorf" (German: "Historischer Weg Graurheindorf"), which was officially inaugurated in March 2021. This is an approx. 4 km long path with 15 stations across the village. The stations show historical or current sights or report on historical events in the village such as the plague of 1666 and the flood catastrophe of 1784. At each station there is an information board on the respective topic with texts, pictures and photos. In addition, there is a QR code on each board, which you can use to have the text read out to you with your cell phone.

The starting point of the Historical Path is in the center of Graurheindorf at the Estermannstraße bridge over the Rheindorfer Bach, right next to the Graurheindorf book cart. There is an information board with an overview map of all stations and flyers to take with you.
