The basketball court at Oak Street Park affords a valley view of five mountains along the Susquehanna Warrior Trail in Shickshinny, Pennsylvania. (Population: 715) The green playing surface with white boundary lines has a red center court circle and free throw lanes. It is oriented southwest-to-northeast and is mainly smooth except for an oddly patched repair on the southern free throw line of three irregular shaped islands which rise 1/8" above the ground. Mounted to galvanized posts, the fan-shaped backboards are solid white with orange shooter squares and outside borders. A white net hangs from the north rim. Perforated metal park benches are spread around the area. A pair of street lamps on the court's west side illuminate after dark play.
