The quiet rural town of Tumbarumba is on the south western slopes of the Snowy Mountains. While looking to buy a notepad to replace the piece of paper that I was using to record coordinates of photos taken I had passed the closed Newsagent, buying what I needed at the Neighbourhood Grocer. On returning to my young group I noticed that the Newsagent was now open for business. It has the usual local, regional, State and National newspapers, a multitude of magazines, cards, gifts, stationery and sundry items. Also selling lottery tickets, Scratchies and Powerball tickets.
