[FR] Sortant de l'enceinte de l'abbaye par cette Porte, le seule route reliant Brives suivait le sommet de la Falaise de Malpas. AU XIXeme siècle le Rocher entaillé dans la Vallée pour donner le passage à la route nationale 89.
Autrefois, l'ancienne voie de Malpas conduisait d'abord au château de Fraysse puis suivez le bas des collines après avoir passé le Moulin Rouge de dans le vallon. Ça trace est encore visible jusqu'au bout de Pazayac.

[EN] Leaving the abbey's enclosure through this gate, the only road linking Brives followed the top of the Malpas cliff. In the XIXth century, the rock was cut into the valley to give way to the national road 89.
In the past, the old road of Malpas led first to the castle of Fraysse then follow the bottom of the hills after having passed the Moulin Rouge in the valley. This trace is still visible until the end of Pazayac.
