BILL NO 1 - Converse County, Wyoming - U.S. Benchmarks on Waymarking.com

Reference mark 1 is monumented about 25 feet to the south-southeast of benchmark BILL. The mark is set in the top of a square concrete post. Erosion has caused the irregular mass of concrete that was once below ground to become exposed as a result of the reference mark being on the edge of the State Highway 59 roadcut. At the time that I recovered the mark, the concrete monument projected about 1.5 feet above the slope of the roadcut on the the southwest side of the mark. The disk is a U.S. Coast & Geodetic Survey reference mark with "USGS" stamped on it.
