This popular sculpture of a frog is located trailside, on the east side of Chautauqua, south of the Sam Noble Museum of Natural History. The frog prince is on top of a pedestal, with his nickname "Jeffrey" on a plaque. A few feet away is a dedicated bench for the Monroes.
The frog is approximately 4 feet tall, on top of a 3 1/2 feet high pedestal. He wears a crown (he's a prince!), and has his left hand resting on his belly. His right hand holds a heart up to his mouth, where he appears to be kissing it. The landscaping around this art piece is in the shape of a heart, filled with small rocks.

I am the sculptor. Jeffrey grew up in Norman and passed away in an auto accident in Texas. This is his family's memorial to him. They did not want a likeness of him, instead, they wanted something that would make people stop and smile.
