The Tumut Adventist Church is set on a corner block on a back street of Tumut. We had seen on Monday evening while returning from picking up Pizza for the Pathfinders. It is a light brown brick building on a darker brown base. It has a 45° pitched gabled corrugated iron roof. On the roadside end is the signage for the Church, with the year consecrated - 1970.

The Pathfinder club that I am Director of had stayed over at the Tumut Showground. On our way to Tumbarumba for the 2023 Treasured Camporee the car that I was in went by the Adventist Church so that I could get a photo.

We found out later that day that the property that we were going to camp on for the next five days is owned by a Tumut Church member and their family.

The club secretary had organised for the Pathfinders to stay overnight in the Tumut Adventist Church hall, which later was changed to us staying at the Showground.
