The Bristol Korean War Monument is a large polished black granite monolith which contains a laser etched map of the Korean Peninsula, the Korean Service medal, and the UN Korea medal. The monument is set in a circular landscaped area and is inscribed:

1950 – 1953
SERVED WITH HONOR
to those who died
HONOR AND ETERNAL REST
to those still missing
REMEMBRANCE AND HOPE
to those who returned
GRATITUDE AND PEACE
A plaque at the base of the monolith is inscribed:
