Stone pulpit in St Giles' church, Great Longstone.
The pulpit was installed in September 1874 after the church reopened after the church had been restored between 1872 and 1873 by Richard Norman Shaw. It was supplied by the Ashford Marble Works. The base is Mansfield white stone, while the upper 'body' of the pulpit is polished alabaster, with a carved cornice with a book rest supported by a red marble column (so-called Duke's Marble) from Alport near Youlgreave.
