Would you believe that a windmill can be a benchmark? The larger wooden windmill is HP0391, designation WINDMILL 1 and set as a benchmark in 1944. It is still standing, and actually looks fairly sturdy for an eighty year old wood tower. To reach the windmill you will drive on a dirt track; passenger cars will be OK if you take it slow.
