The time capsule is along with pathway to the museum. It's located across from the gazebo.The plaque reads:
Time Capsule Containing the
history of the Osage Nation was
sealed within this concrete block
September 30, 1972 to commemorate
the centennial of the removal of
the great and little Osage Indians
from their Kansas lands to Oklahoma
Indian territory. It is to be opened on
September 30th 2072.
Osage Tribal Council (1970-1974)
This plaque given in friendship by
Petrolite Corp May 11, 1979.
