In front of the Peace Memorial on the Piazza Bra in Verona, I noticed this braille sign.

What I don't really understand is, why they placed the sign BEHIND the fence. I don't think visually impaired people will ever get near the sign.
There is no other text on the sign, so I don't know that the sign says.
About the peace memorial:
On one the south side the wall you will find several things refering to notorious dates (September 11th 2001), locations (eg. Yemen, Afghanistan, Syria) and quotes by people (eg Michail Gorbatsjov, Mother Theresa).
On the other side (north side) it looks to be a more positive. Music, butterflies and the word "Pax" (peace) on it.
The tekst on the base of the monument reads:
