Located near Falls Lake, on section 8 of the Mountains-to-Sea Trail, the electric switch box is being consumed by a white oak tree. The trail is located 7.10 miles west of Wake Forest. To reach proceed along NC 98 Hwy 0.05 mile west of Penny-Hester Bridge to trailhead and road side parking.
