New Years celebrations - Waalwijk, NL - Fireworks Displays on Waymarking.com

Fireworks are still (for how long?) legal in the Netherlands for individuals. At New Year's Eve you can enjoy nice fireworks from anywhere in the city.
Waalwijk city government is planning (in line national guidelines) to make it illegal to light firework and host a firework show instead. In 2022 this is not the case yet.

Rules and tips for fireworks in Waalwijk
"Fireworks may be set off on December 31 from 6 p.m. to 2 a.m.

Tips for safe lighting:
Only light fireworks from an official point of sale.
Store fireworks in a dry and cool place.
Keep fireworks out of the reach of children.
Before lighting, read the instructions on the packaging.
Don't drink too much alcohol before you shoot, then you stay sharp.
Do not wear flammable clothing while lighting.
Do not wear hooded clothing.
Wear fireworks goggles, even if you don't set off fireworks yourself.
Light fireworks with a lighter fuse.
Never use matches or a lighter!
Make sure that decorative fireworks are always sturdy and stable.
Note the wind direction.
Take a sufficient distance, at least 8 to 15 meters.
Never re-light fireworks that have not gone off.
Be mindful of other people when setting off fireworks. Also, do not light fireworks in places where people or animals live that are very bothered or can be frightened."
