The brown brick and wrought iron archway declares this to be "Central Park" with a plaque commemorating the Pioneers of the area of 1855. But it seems that the park is better known (and also by the more recent signage) as ANZAC Park.
The rectangular grassy park has a predominant War Memorial to the eastern end, with scattered mature trees spread around for shade. It was well maintained, and in great condition for any family picnic. There are a couple of undercover picnic tables. A small amount of off-street parking is near the lawn bowling club; but there is plenty of on-street parking around the block.
