This plaque is located at a small monument just to the south of Saint Adalbert Church on Fruit Avenue in Farrell, Pennsylvania. Saint Adalbert Church was founded in 1912 to serve the local Polish population. The plaque is affixed to a stone base, next to another plaque commemorating General Casimir Pulaski from 1937. The bicentennial plaque says:

Be it known that the people of
Mercer County, PA. have paused,
in October 1976, to pay tribute to
Brigadier General Casimir Pulaski
Father of the American Cavalry
who gave his life in behalf of the
American struggle for independence.
