Soba is a thin Japanese noodle made from buckwheat. The noodles are served either chilled with a dipping sauce, or hot in a noodle soup. The variety Soba includes wheat flour.
This time we ordered Seiro-Soba and Goshoku-Bukkake.
Seiro-Soba is chilled soba arranged on the Seiro, a Bamboo steamer.
Goshoku-Bukkake also is a chilled soba with five toppings such as grated yam, fermented soybeans, lady fingers, mekabu(root of the wakame seaweed), and Tempura bits.
Enjoy your Japanese noodle time!
